The scientific project of the P2S Laboratory is part of a comprehensive and holistic approach to health organisations and the consideration of societal changes. These new dynamics require a revisitation of the concepts and tools traditionally used in public health (health, well-being, disability, dependency, quality, efficiency, evaluation, regulation, etc.). Within a population health framework, they should enable the analysis, modelling, and provision of decision-making support systems for the institutional and field players\/stakeholders involved in integrative and personalised patient care.<\/p>

Three principles form the foundation of our research work : trans-disciplinarity involves the co-construction of tools and methods through the integration of different disciplinary fields.<\/strong><\/p>

The process approach is a major vector for structuring health organisation. By situating care episodes within a life trajectory, the concept of pathways allows for the construction of health system performance and the interactions among its stakeholders, including the patient.<\/p>

The \u201csystemic\u201d approach enables an understanding of the complexity of the health system. It involves a scientific stance which involves the analysis and the optimization of a complex system, focused on highlighting their interactions rather than on its components.<\/p>

The ongoing research work is organised around three axis :<\/strong><\/p>

The impact of innovations,<\/strong>
The contribution of interactions,<\/strong>
