Partner
Call for Projects: ERASMUS +
Funding Amount for Lyon 1: €76,000

The starting point of this project is the framework of Schools for Health, promoted by the Schools for Health in Europe Network Foundation (SHE). The objective is to support schools in becoming inclusive places for living, learning, and playing. “The objective of SHE4AHA is to show that the Health Promoting School (HPS) framework can be used as a validated and evidence-based contribution to implement the Commissions’ green paper on ageing that calls for solutions to support healthy and active ageing from an early age”.

The SHE4AHA project collaborates with 15 pilot schools in 5 European countries (Slovenia, Denmark, Iceland, Portugal, and France).

Each school receives training and a support and monitoring system to promote the health of children and youth.

A website will be launched at the end of the project to share methodological resources and support materials, as well as feedback that can inspire other schools wishing to join the Schools for Health framework.
